If a regulatory complaint is received about the Executive Director of Professional Regulation, the Chief Executive Officer will assume the role of the Executive Director, for the purpose of instructing the investigation under By-law 11.
If a regulatory complaint is received about the Chief Executive Officer, the Treasurer will refer the complaint to an outside investigator for review, assessment and/or investigation as required and provide direction to the Executive Director of Professional Regulation.
If a regulatory complaint is received about the Treasurer, the Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee will act as Treasurer, in accordance with the provisions of By-law 3, for the purpose of this policy, and provide direction to the Executive Director of Professional Regulation.
Notwithstanding the provisions of this policy, if a regulatory complaint is received about any of the Executive Director of Professional Regulation, the Chief Executive Officer or the Treasurer, the complaint shall be referred to an outside investigator for review, assessment and /or investigation as required.
