Are you Acting as a Proxy for an Articling Principal?

What is a Proxy?

A proxy is a user who has access to an approved articling principal’s online account. The Proxy User will be able to file the Experiential Training Plan and the Record of Experiential Training using the Online Articling Program Reporting Tool on behalf of the principal they are a proxy for. Articles of Clerkship or Certificates of Service forms cannot be filed by the Proxy User on behalf of the principal.

Becoming a Proxy

If you have not acted as a proxy in previous years, you may contact the Licensing and Accreditation Department to request a Proxy Access form. Once you have completed the form, you may forward it back to Licensing and Accreditation staff for processing/approval.

Articling principals must be approved prior to you applying to act as their proxy. If you are a new proxy user, you will receive an e-mail containing your username and a link to change your password once the form is approved. Please note, the password must be generated within 24 hours.

Proxy User approvals are valid for one year. Each year, prior to July 31, the Proxy User must submit the Proxy Access Form. Proxy Users should keep a list of approved principals for their records.

To access your proxy account, log in to the Articling Reporting Tool under “Non-member”.
