Business structures and practice arrangements

Under the Law Society Act and its by-laws, you are permitted to set up your practice as a sole proprietorship, general partnership, limited liability partnership, or a professional corporation.  To understand the differences between these types of business structures, consult the Law Society's comparison resource.
