Tax Receipts

Tax receipts for 2016 and later years will be posted in your Law Society Portal account by the end of February of the following year.

If you require a tax receipt for prior years, the Law Society will issue a receipt, upon request, within 3 business days.

Tax receipt requests for years prior to 2016 may be directed to the Accounts office by email at accounts@lso.ca. Original tax receipts are provided at no charge.

Duplicate tax receipts must be requested in writing at a cost of $10.00 (plus applicable taxes) each. Payment must be enclosed with the request. Please allow two to three weeks for processing.
