Cataloguing services

The Great Library's Library Systems and Technical Services Department provides cataloguing and processing services to libraries for legal materials.

The cataloguing service includes high-level cataloguing using the following standards:

• KF Modified for common law legal material
• MARC 21 format for bibliographic data
• RDA and LC rule interpretations for descriptive cataloguing
• Library of Congress and Canadian subject headings
• Enhanced table of contents notes for Law Society of Upper Canada CLE materials.

Online County & District Law Library reporting forms

Two online reporting forms are available for the submission of cataloguing requests by county and district law libraries in Ontario.
